Be My Forever: Christina Perri talks about duet with Ed Sheeran

Christina Perri gave an interview to MTV recently, to promote the new album "Head Or Heart".

The singer said the first single, "Human", and also the track "Be My Forever", which was recorded in collaboration with Ed Sheeran.

"We met in 2011 in the bathroom of the BRIT Awards, we went out, we do everything together and Tattoo, "the singer said about her friendship with Sheeran.

"About the music, this is the happiest song I've ever written," said the singer. "I arrived at the studio one day and said 'I will not write songs today', and the guy who would write me asked 'why?' And I said 'I'm so in love, so don’t want to write songs.' So he challenged me to compose about it, and at the end of the day I was in love with this song, and it was a duet, and I knew I had to be with Ed, "Perri" said.

"I knew it would work - he was in town doing a show with Taylor Swift., then he came into the studio, and talked! 'He love that song 'We recorded as a team, and it was fun," she said.

The album "Head Or Heart" is set for release on April 01, 2014.
