The FOX studio is planning a remake of the movie Valley of the Dolls. The winners of the Oscars, Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence, and the Queen of Pop, Madonna will join the cast.
According to MovieWeb.com site, the voice of " Hung Up "is listed for the role of Broadway star Helen Lawson, role in the original version was thought to Judy Garland , but ended up with Susan Hayward.
The star of The Hunger Games would be with the character Jennifer North, while Anne Hatthaway is considered for the role of Anne Welles. Actress Emma Rossum, best known for her role in The Phantom of the Opera, would be the interpreter of character Neely O'Hara.
The project is being written by Paul Rudnick (Addams Family II, The Stepford Wives) and will be a modern version of the classic 1967 whose story revolves around the music industry and Hollywood career of aspiring girl stars.
