Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Harry Styles mourn the death of Robin Williams

The death of actor Robin Williams yesterday (11) at age 63 in an apparent act of suicide, took all his fans by surprise. In the music world was no different, and many stars paid their respects on Twitter to the star of such films as "Popeye" (1980), "Good Morning Vietnam" (1987), "Dead Poets Society" (1989 ) and "Good Will Hunting" (1997).

"Rest in peace + laughter," wrote Lady Gaga who also said she hopes this tragedy will shed light on the seriousness of depression. "You made us all so happy." Concluded the singer.

Miley Cyrus: "I've never cried so much for someone I've never met but I can’t stop," wrote the singer.

The messages continue: "May his soul be at peace now," wished Rihanna, while Harry Styles from One Direction said Williams was one of his favorite artists of all time and recalled that he grew up watching his films." A genius who will be sorely missed," he added.

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift also wrote about the actor. The two preferred sending short messages.

Perry was limited to say I was so sad about Williams. Swift, meanwhile, said to be heartbroken for comedian and his family.
