Lionsgate has revealed the premiere date and the synopsis of the movie Power Rangers. The production is highly anticipated by fans of the franchise. The film is scheduled to release in the United States theaters on July 22, 2016.
Since the synopsis is somewhat generic, in view of the fact that the production is still in development. Director and cast have not yet been selected, but the script will write by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class) and produce by Roberto Orci (Star Trek).
The full script has not yet been developed. However, Orci recently stated that the new film "exist in continuity with the TV series". The question is which series since the production featured several "phases" during its 20 seasons. Check out the synopsis:
"A modern reinvention of Power Rangers, a group of ordinary kids from school who acquire extraterrestrial powers and must use them as a team to save the world."
