The first solo album of Gerard Way was released a week before it hits stores and music streaming sites. "Hesitant Alien" shows the former lead singer of My Chemical Romance expanding his musical horizons. The record shows that he's been listening to too much glam rock and Britpop bands of the 90s.
The musical twist is proving correct. The album, short with 11 tracks and 40 minutes of music, is pleasing enough and critical success has everything to do with the general public.
