Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu, known for his contribution to Birdman and Babel films, directs this year a thrilling survival film, The Revenant.
In a deeply American wild, Hugh Glass, a trapper, is attacked by a bear and seriously injured. Abandoned by his teammates, he is left for dead. But Glass refuses to die. Only armed with his will and carried by his love for his wife and his son, Glass undertakes a journey of over 300 km in a hostile environment, on the trail of the man who betrayed him. His thirst for vengeance will turn into a heroic struggle to brave all obstacles, return home and find redemption.
The Revenant is anything but a film like no other. The summary presents us as a rough film, and some scenes have already become cult at some sneak peeks of the film.
