The beta test for PC versions of the game begins on October 30th. So if you want to play the game on the PC before release on November 14, then you have to pre-order the game. Only pre-orderers are allowed to try the beta. Then you'll see in advance if your PC has enough system resources for the game.

What are the advantages of being able to play Fallout 76 on the PC? From the graphics, there should be little difference between the individual versions. If Bethesda acts like Fallout 4, then maybe a high-res textures pack for the PC version.

Besides, mods also play a role but only at a later date. And many find it more enjoyable to play Fallout 76 with a mouse and keyboard instead of a controller.
