After the infection with TB in the mission "Paradise Mercifully Departed" Arthur must live with some health restrictions. The disease will fully developed after completion of Chapter 5. You can see he falls off his horse and is diagnosed by a doctor in a cutscene Chapter 6.

The disease will affect all cores and will empty faster. Under normal conditions, it takes 90 minutes for cores to be completely consumed. With the disease, the time is reduced to only 75 minutes.
