Get Started and Essential Tips: Cadence of Hyrule

Our guide will help you get started with Cadence of Hyrule, and to come with the best musical rhythm.

Adjust the Default Settings

The default settings are not bad, but you can change the difficulty of the game a bit since it is a game that has a difficulty perhaps somewhat easy for Zelda veterans.

Every attack you execute must be made to the rhythm of the music, and this also can vary in the options. As your opponents also move under the rhythm, you can always predict their movements if you already know the previous song.

Anyhow, if you don’t like this game mode and want a little more normal combat, you can always access the options and activate the fixed time option for the matches.

If you turn on the fixed time, your opponents will only move when you move, making us more of a tactical than a musical title. However, we recommend use only the fixed time for the first hours of play and when you have memorized the movements of each enemy, return to the default mode.

Earn Diamonds

Diamonds is a currency that used in the Cadence of Hyrule. With them you can buy permanent elements and updates. You can farm diamonds by destroying your opponents on a screen and the best part is that you won’t lose them even if you die. Every so often you can visit a store where you can invest these diamonds in new items.

Spend Rupees

The classic rupees are not lacking in this title, and it is interesting that you spend them once you have obtained a good amount of them. Unlike other games, you can end up losing them throughout the adventure if they kill you, which is always good to invest in the merchants that you find in the games.

Understand the Items You Carry

Throughout the adventure you will find passive objects and other assets. In the upper right corner of the screen you will see some arranged in a straight line which are those that can be used passively, such as the torch and the shovels.

On the other hand, the elements that you have arranged in the form of a diamond must be activated manually and you will have to press the appropriate button to use them.

How to Obtain More Items

Many items scattered across the map but others will only appear if you kill your opponents on the screen. You will also see chests that are only available for a limited time.

You can also invest diamonds from time to time in the store and also spend all your rupees on merchants to obtain many more objects.

Remember to organize all the objects and items that you have in the menu assigning to the fast slots those that you use the most in the games.
