It's not long now before Valorant Act 2 Episode 2 update arrives in game. It feels like only yesterday the new Act got underway and we've seen a number of updates come to improve the game and even add more content. While we wait to see what will drop, we've decided to give you a preview of what's to come.
So here's what we know about Valorant Act 2 Episode 2. Balanced new episode is expected to begin on the 2nd of March as this is when the current battle pass comes to an end.
The new battle pass will cost 1000 Valorant points as it does normally.
The new pass will follow a similar model providing various gun buddies, sprays, weapon skins and variants.
We are aware that the tier 38 player card is connected to the new agent. We're still waiting for the official patch notes from riot games but we are aware of two updates that are coming in 2.04 that have been confirmed previously.
Riot will be looking to reduce the number of AFK players in 2.04. They claim to have been working on several features that they are confident will help not only this but they have focused attention on chat based offenses moderating over 11 languages to improve this system and escalating penalties based on the frequency and severity of the offense. While it's not clear what agents are being targeted in this patch. Players are still salty about the recent raider nerfs. So we wouldn't be surprised to see Riot reverse this unjust set of changes.
Agent 15's identity still remains a mystery at this point but we are aware of some details including the fact that this is the fourth controller being added to the lineup and rumors have suggested that the new agent is Ghanaian. Character producer John Goscicki told players that “we're trying to push the boundaries when it comes to the agent abilities in Valorant, and so far, everything we've thrown at you has been less disruptive than we thought they'd be. That said, our next controller is a cosmic shift from the play patterns you've grown accustomed to. This one is for you galaxy brain players out there that like to study everything that happens on a map.”
Teasers started to surface into the game last week with various objects we believe to be embers appearing on some of the maps. ValorLeaks on twitter has said that he believes the agent could have a smoke and a flash but has also admitted that he could be wrong. We're not expecting any new modes anytime soon as recently escalation was added to the game. But riot have been talking about the idea of changing up the formula by tinkering with team sizes and length of games. It seems like a new map isn't likely to be on the cards for this new episode as we've not heard any news on it so far.
