Ed Sheeran and Pokémon revealed a new collaboration. This time, a new song entitled “Celestial,” featuring Pikachu!
The song, Celestial, will be available to listen from September 29, 2022, on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Deezer or Apple Music.
This isn't the first time Ed Sheeran has teamed up with Pokémon. The singer had already confided that his favorite Pokémon was Squirtle (Zenigame)! In November 2021, a special event featuring the singer and his new album took place on Pokémon Go. Players were even able to collect a virtual t-shirt bearing the image of the album “ = ”. A performance video by Ed Sheeran on the Pokémon GO game allowed trainers to listen to Ed Sheeran performing his best-known songs such as Perfect, Bad Habits, Overpass Graffiti, Thinking Out Loud, First Time, and Shivers.
