If you are wondering whether Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope (MRSoH) has co-op or multiplayer mode, well, the answer is no, Sparks of Hope is only single player game as it was revealed by the creators during an interview with Screenrant. Here are the reasons given by them:
We decided in the middle of production to focus on the
single-player experience because of the many elements we added to the original
concept and to balance all that, so we decided to focus on the single-player
aspect only. It is an assumed choice. We wanted to avoid the risk of finding
ourselves going off in multiple directions and then ending up with an
unbalanced game that would ultimately never come out.
Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be released on
Thursday, October 20 on Nintendo Switch.
