Diablo 4 (D4) Endgame: what to do after reach max level?

After you've completed all the challenges in Diablo 4 (D4), you'll reach the max level / the endgame. It's the hardest level and it will keep you hooked on the game for a longer duration. In this guide, we’ll show you all the activities that D4 has in store for the endgame. Each of its elements is important for advancing your character in order to get gear.

D4's World Tier (WT) system is designed to keep game content engaging regardless of your power level. There are several WT, each increasing the level of enemies you run into. The level can be changed when you start your session or at a statue in a town. As the world level increases, your rewards will also increase. Even at WT2, you can expect better gear rewards, more gold drops, and an XP boost from defeating enemies.

The Helltide is one of many endgame activities in D4. This is the only way to get Fiend Rose and Forgotten Souls to enchant your gear at the Occultist, but also to get Legendary or Unique items.

After reaching the WT 3 and above and getting access to the Tree of Whispers, you will start collecting Nightmare Sigils. These sigils are used to unlock Nightmare dungeons - more difficult versions of a regular dungeon. The difficulty of the Nightmare Dungeon will depend on the level of Nightmare Sigil you have, which means that these dungeons will increase in difficulty as your power increases.

There are certain areas of the D4 map, like the Fields of Hatred, where PvP combat is everywhere. The purpose of these areas is to collect shards, purify those shards and then bring them back to one of the central areas to sell for cosmetic items.

As you progress through, you will come across World Bosses. These are extremely difficult open-world enemies that will require a large number of players to defeat. Of course, you will be rewarded with rare loot.

D4's initial endgame won't be the only potential endgame content we'll get. As D3 seasons have been successful and added a lot of replayability to the game in its long life, Blizzard has confirmed that they will be making a reappearance in D4.

In summary, the Diablo 4 endgame promises a multitude of high - level activities and challenges. There is always something to do after reaching max level in Diablo 4.
