What stats to improve first in Lords of the Fallen LotF?

When you first start out, Lords of the Fallen (LotF) 2023 might be quite overwhelming. The game is enormous, and on top of that, you're given a ton of introductory material right away, not all of which the player retains because of its sheer volume. After that, you're essentially on your own, attempting to figure everything out on your own. But don't worry, there is a ton of information on the official wiki and we have a ton of useful information for you as well.

In this article we focus mainly on Attributes / States because this is probably one of the first things you'll be wondering.

One of the first things you'll notice immediately upon playing LotF is that enemies hit really hard, and it's easy to get kill in a few hits. Because of this, I strongly advise you to improve Vitality as soon as possible until you have enough HP to stop dying.

Sanguinarix, the healing item in the game does not provide a set amount of healing; rather, it restores a percentage of your maximum health. This makes it so increasing your max Health doesn't come with the drawback of having a high Max Health. But not healing much of it when you use the Sanguinarix.

Furthermore, the damage you gain by pumping strength through Agility early on is insignificant because of the poor scaling of weapons. For this reason, I advise only allocating enough points into them to meet weapon or shield requirements and then focusing on Vitality for a bit.

This also applies to Radiance and Inferno. Except in this case you want to meet the requirements for any spells you want to use and then focus on Vitality for a while.
