RE6 Heading to Consoles Xbox / PS3 with New Features in Oct

Since the original game released in the mid 90s, Resident Evil (RE) has been a craze in the gaming industry and the developer Capcom must be very happy about the game’s success. From the early release on the Sega Saturn the RE has sold over fifty million copies as of June 30, 2012 on a range of gaming platforms. Though, like many ongoing games the various installments have had a mixed reception from players. Many people still believe that the original game was the best in the series. Surely, it was an impressive and ground-breaking game in its day, but gaming has come a long way since then. In terms of financial success, RE 5 was the most successful game of the series. It is indeed true to say that a considerable amount of the fan base views RE 4 as the high water mark of the franchise. The main reason for this appears to be the view that RE5 was simply a modification of the original game with slightly new or innovative content.

What some would oppose about however is that there undoubtedly is a huge and as yet untapped demand for the new version of the game - RE 6 is a hot topic among many gamers today.

Capcom announced recently that RE 6 will release on October 2, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and the PC version of the game will follow later. The following video clip shows off exactly what you can expect from the Capcom's new RE service.
