As the hostility of the government continues to catch eyes across the big screens, we turn to the second installment of Suzanne’s Hunger Games trilogy “Catching Fire”. Given the successful performance of the first installment in the box office, it can safely be said that fans of the Hunger Games book series will be looking forward to seeing the continuation of Katniss’, Peeta’s, and Gale’s” story unfold on the big screen.
When last we left our female protagonist Katniss faced with the worst dilemma of her life because she had to pose as in love with the person she quite likes. She had angered the Capitol by not only winning the contest, but also saving the life of her fake boyfriend Peeta. Such non-compliance with rules has not gone unseen, and now the twelve Districts are starting to get ideas of rebellion.
And so President orders both survivors to tour the districts and pretend to be in love to resolve the conflict. The rulers seem to be a bit fuzzy as to what to do with the pair, because they also thrown back into the Hunger Games for round two.
Al the leading cast members in "Hunger Games", including Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, have returned to reprise their respective roles.
Lionsgate has released the first teaser clip for the Hunger Games sequel “Catching Fire”, which you can watch bellow:
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will hit theaters on November 22, 2013.
