The comic book story involves siblings Polaris and Scarlet, witch has a new chapter. According to the Deadline Marvel Studios wants Aaron Johnson, the star of the Kick-Ass film series, to play the son of Magneto, Quicksilver, in the adaptation.
While there is no official confirmation from the studios about Johnson involvement in the project, but it is a great battle between two Hollywood studios, The Disney and Marvel. They own the rights to the series The Avengers, while Fox owns the X-Men franchise on the big screen. Now the issue is that the character is part of both universes in comics.
In recent times, there has been widespread speculation, Evan Peters could sign a contract with Disney and also be in two films. However, in one of them he would be Quicksilver, while the other would sign with the original name of the character: Pietro Maximoff.
Though we still don't know who will play the role of Pietro in The Avengers 2, but the name most quoted so far is Saoirse Ronan (The Host).
