MK8: Learn to edit and share videos on Mario Kart TV

Mario Kart 8 introduces the interesting Mario Kart TV, a media center inside the game itself where you can watch replays from various angles of the last races, and save favorite matches and upload them to YouTube . Want to learn how to use the tool? Check out our tutorial

Step 1: In the game main menu, select Mario Kart TV

Step 2: After a brief loading, a large screen display thumbnails of replays of past races you competed in both the online and offline mode. Moving the slider to the right, you can find the area of favorite videos.

Step 3: Select the video you want to edit and press A. Then said click the "Play" button to play the file.

Step 4: Once you start the replay, press A and select "Highlight Reel Edit" to edit the video.

Step 5: Use the options to edit the video the way you prefer. You can choose to focus on characters, duration, soundtrack and some more options.

Step 6: When you finish your editing, press A again and select "Share Highlight Reel" to upload the video to Youtube.


Step 7: Click "Yes" to confirm.

Step 8: If you have not connected a Google account to Mario Kart TV, select "Yes" to login.

Step 9: Once you have entered your login information correctly and click "Accept" to allow videos to be climbed direct console to the site.

Step 10: Wait for the video upload soon, watching the meter on the top screen.

Step 11: After completing the process, you can still use the gamepad to publish the new video to Miiverse.
